Story
Honestly, I think I let my weight gain because I was careless, because I didn’t want to see what was happening to my body.
I was fat, but I thought I was a normal person, and I think I saw it that way because I had already gotten used to that type of unhealthy life that many people still live.
Since I never really appreciated the size of my problem, I gained weight very quickly, I ate anything and felt like it would stay in my body forever.
And gaining weight was very easy. I had a very sedentary life, my work consumed a lot of my time and I always had food within reach. I could spend the whole day eating lots of sweets, juices, soft drinks, cookies.
But there was something that made me react and realize that I needed a change in my life and in my body.
My family has always suffered from high blood pressure, diabetes and cancer. And when my uncle died from cancer and having my aunts and mother sick with diabetes made me say: “ENOUGH, I don’t want to die!”
The sad thing about my story is that I had to hit rock bottom, I had to have a painful scene in my life to realize that I needed to change and find a solution to my obesity problem.
Before this, and even though I knew I was obese, it never seemed to me that I had a problem, I believed that they were just stereotypes that society places on overweight or obese people.
However, after my uncle died, when I decided that my life needed to change, I learned about the Cambridge Weight Loss Plan.
I sought help from my nutritionist, Nallely Celiceo, and started the Cambridge Plan. At first I thought it would be difficult to follow this diet, but the truth is that it is not. They were changes to my schedule, type of food, ways of cooking, portions and starting to exercise more frequently.
And the incredible thing happened: I lost 18.5 kg!
The changes that I achieved in my life and in my body with the Cambridge Plan are many and very noticeable. For example, I get less tired, my knees stopped popping, my periods are shorter and less painful, my performance in my activities is much better, and the sizes I now wear are much smaller than the ones I normally wore.
I must admit that the most difficult thing was the beginning of my change, the most difficult thing was realizing that I had a problem and that I needed professional help.
With Cambridge I stopped eating those “cravings” in the irrational way in which I ate them and I got rid of the fear that comes with changing eating habits.
I gave up the cravings little by little and I stopped getting used to the taste and smell of that food and when you try it again, after a while, the smell and taste no longer seem so delicious to you.
And when I started the change I thought that it would be difficult for me, that it would be difficult for me to attend meetings with friends or family, but I found a lot of support in them, because they ate the same food as me, they accompanied me to my appointments and to the supermarket for my food and they exercised with me.
They have always been by my side, they motivate me and are adapting to this life change with me.
Today, I am another! It changed my life physically and emotionally. I feel much healthier, more confident and more sure of myself and what I can achieve.
Cambridge has allowed me to learn how to change my life. I think that in some way I was letting myself be carried away by what I believed was my destiny due to family inheritance, without thinking that things could be different.
I will never have words to thank everything that Cambridge and my nutritionist have done and continue to do for me. Your help has given me a second chance to live a healthy life.
I was very overweight and I was always tired, I was always sleepy, I had no energy, I had a headache. They were little things so they just accumulated.

I never imagined I would be one of those people who exercise, but when I started losing weight I wanted to do something to have more energy.
First I started walking, then running. It was an incredible achievement because I managed to travel 5 kilometers without getting tired.
The difference is enormous. I feel like another person. It changed not only physically, but also emotionally. Losing weight was like a soul healing. Everything is connected.
Seeing myself thinner, I began to love myself, it gave me a security that I had not felt for years. My family and friends told me about the difference in my mood. I became a happier and more confident person. The change in me is incredible. It’s a feeling I never want to lose.
The emotional change in me is the best thing that Cambridge Weight Plan has left me. The security he gave me was something I wouldn’t change for anything.
Cambridge definitely helped me set a goal and achieve it.
