Story

My life before starting Cambridge was always exhausting, after eating I used to feel dizzy, I didn’t do activities that required a lot from me.

Despite sleeping for a long time during the day, I used to feel constantly tired, and I didn’t like the image in the mirror.

Since I was little I had a “chubby” complexion and at the beginning my parents were constantly worried about taking me to nutritionists, but as time went by I became like “the chubby” good guy, after having gone to a bariatrician who I don’t know what she was giving me, it became increasingly difficult for me to lose weight and I stopped trying to even try to change.

To decide that the change was necessary, there were two situations that made me rethink that I needed it; I once asked my wife what she needed to be happier with me and she answered that a child, that made me realize that losing weight was a commitment to me and as a couple to make what we dreamed of a better future. The other situation was with my younger brother, when I realized that he was becoming less and less interested in exercising and taking care of himself and it was because he followed my example, it was when I completely realized that not only for my younger brother, but also for the son or daughter that I want to have, I can be an example, I decided to have a better version of myself to offer.

Laziness was perhaps my worst enemy and what made me get to that point, or not realizing the influence it had on someone I love.

When I decided to have a change and I started looking for how to carry out my plans within my Facebook contacts, there was Dr. Nallely. She and I went together in primary school and I asked her for a consultation when I learned that she was dedicated to weight control and she explained to me that there was a healthy and effective way to reduce weight and at the same time create long-term healthy habits.

Difficult, the first 3 days I felt anxious and irritable but my doctor was always in communication with me so I never felt worried about the symptoms because I knew it was normal.

Too many, I feel more energetic, I will soon have to buy new clothes, it also made me realize how badly I ate and now being aware of this I have opted for healthier habits, what’s more, I’m already enrolled in the gym and I’m becoming more and more cheerful.

The first few days, but since I was so clear about my objective, all that was needed was patience.

At the beginning there was a lot of uncertainty, but I could always count on the love and support of my family, my wife helps me with the preparation of food and her encouragement is my best encouragement to continue.

At first, yes, of course the temptation exists, but I am very clear about what I want for myself and for my future son or daughter, so every time the cravings come I remember what made me decide to lose weight and I don’t stop.

Proud of me and determined to continue.

It improved my self-esteem, it gave me new habits that I never thought I would have. And it helps me reach my goal in a healthy way and to say that it is also quite delicious to the palate.
